Festive Photos

These bags contain their 'gifts' to their parents: reindeer handprint ornament, candy cane fingerprint ornament, and The Greatest Gift is My Family book


{Merry Mail mailboxes}
The kiddos write letters to each other the whole month of December. By the end of the month, their mailbox is stuffed full of letters from each friend in the class!

{Reindeer Craftivity from the 

{WAFFLES! Phonics Focus this week: final syllable -le}
We are loving the story of Mable and can't wait to make waffles on Friday! Loving this FUN way to teach final syllable -le! {Waaay yummier than my jungle idea! HA!} Super presh idea, Sarah!! :)

I am off to enjoy the remaining two days with my sweet angels! We will rotate to the other first grade classrooms for a book and fun activity, and end the week with Polar Express Day on Friday!

Wow! What a festive classroom, I bet your kids had a blast! I LOVE the mail boxes, what a wonderful idea for the kids to get lots of letters from each other. I'm in Australia so the Christmas break is our end of school year - I think it'd be perfect for the kids to take home a mail bag full of letters from each other at the end of year. I think I'll be borrowing your idea next year :).... Thanks!
